Administrator – Joe Kezar
Joe joined the Ridgecrest team in December 2013. He has worked as a health care Administrator since September of 2010. Joe started his career in South Dakota running a small town facility, then after 2 year took on another facility serving as Administrator for 2 communities. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from the University of South Dakota. His goal each day is to make at least one resident laugh. In his personal time Joe enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and sports.
Director of Nursing – Kandi Stull
Therapy Director – Jen Debus
Jennifer (Jen) graduated from Clarkson College in 2013 with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. Upon graduation she began work in skilled nursing facilities throughout eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Her therapy skills as well as her talent for meeting the individual needs of her patients resulted in rapid advancement with increasing responsibilities. She began work with RehabCare in late 2013. Soon after, she was offered the position as the program director at Ridgecrest, where she leads a dedicated team of therapists to meet the needs of clients from all backgrounds. She is interested in further education and certifications in lymphedema and wounds. In her spare time, she enjoys photography where she has had success as a business owner and entrepreneur. She is also a dedicated mother of three children.
Activities Director – Velitta Brown
Vellita has 11 years’ of experience in Activities and she has been with the facility for 7 years. Vellita was born and raised in Omaha. One of her many favorite sayings is “This is their golden years! Life begins at Ridgecrest, it doesn’t end at Ridgecrest!” In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her 3 awesome beautiful grandkids. Quote for the day is “LIVE LIFE AND LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST”.
Marketing / Admissions Director – Cece Mickells
Cece has over 8 years of experience working as a Director of Social Services and Marketing and Admissions Director in the skilled care setting. She has worked with the senior population since the late 80’s. She currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Admissions. She joined Ridgecrest Rehab in February of 2014. Cece loves to promote and spread the word about Ridgecrest Rehab to the community. She enjoys educating the public about what Ridgecrest can offer to potential residents and their families.
Maintenance Director – Jessie Simpson
Jessie has been with the facility for over 15 years, accepting the Maintenance Director Position in 2004. He enjoys making sure residents live in a safe and well run facility. He takes prides in making sure the staff work in a safe environment. Jessie is always the first person to lend a helping hand to ensure a resident’s satisfaction.
Environmental Services Director – Charles Winsley
Charles has been with the facility for almost 10 years and the environment field for over 30 years. Nothing makes Charles’ life happier than to serve and become a family member to the resident. He prides himself to make sure every resident has a clean, safe, and friendly environment to call home. He strives to ensure every family member knows their loved one is receiving the best care.
Social Services Director – Carolyn Fisher
Carolyn joined the Ridgecrest team in January 2009. She brings to Ridgecrest Rehab Center over 25 years experience in Marketing, Admissions, and 4 years in the position of Social Services Designee. Carolyn also has worked in a variety of health care settings including independent and assisting living, home health care and skilled nursing. She enjoys working with our retired population with the belief of visiting their home each day when coming to work. Carolyn enjoys the outdoors and wildlife.
Dietary Manager – Margaret Hodges
Margaret Hodges came to Ridgecrest Rehabilitation in July, 2015. She brings over 30 years experience as a Registered Dietitian. Margaret is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Traineeship at Presbyterian Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Margaret has lived in several different states including Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Minnesota throughout her career
Margaret enjoys the challenge of working in the food service industry. She believes that food service and Dietetics need to work together to provide effective nutrition services to the population in rehab and long term care facilities.
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys cooking and baking for her family. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, which is common among Dietitians and Food service workers. She also has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. One sister lives in Grand Island Nebraska, sister and brother live in Colorado, and one brother lives on the beautiful island of Hawaii. Margaret has one daughter living in Omaha.

Human Resources/ Business Office Manager – Courtney Ruhland
Courtney Ruhland joined the team at Ridgecrest Rehabilitation Center in May of 2014. She currently fulfills the roles of Human Resources and Business Office Director. Before deciding to move to Omaha for this opportunity, Courtney worked as a Personal Banking Officer at West Bank in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Certificate in Aging Studies. Courtney is currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Des Moines University. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys reading, running and competing in races, and cheering her Iowa Hawkeyes onto victory.
